Psychology

At Oncoavanze we understand that taking a cancer diagnosis becomes a complicated task due to the psychological impact that the new situation generates in the person.
The oncological disease is a vital, dynamic and changing experience that generates variable moods that evolve unpredictably. The affected person experiences different emotional and physical reactions, before, during and after treatment. Due to this, the capacity with how to face the new situation will be of vital importance.
The service is offered from the first moment in order to provide tools that help to recover the emotional balance that has been destabilized by the impact of the diagnosis. Psychological support will be an integral part of the medical treatments offered throughout the disease process and the stages that are presented in each patient.
We offer individualized psychological support to the patient and when the treatment is over. We also offer group meetings with other patients as well as psychological counseling to family members.
