Matilde Mora Fernández, PhD. in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cádiz and graduated in Physical Activity and Sports Science from the University of Granada. She is lecturer in the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University of Seville, being its main line of research Physical Activity and Health. Mati Focuses her work on the rehabilitationof cancer patients through exercise with the aim of improving the quality of life of this population. She mainly works with breast cancer patients, performing interventions after medical treatment. She coordinates an agreement between the University of Seville, SACU (service to the university community) and the Oncoavanze group in which various physical activity programs are developed in aquatic and land environments, using them as a recovery tool.
Matilde participates in several European projects within the Horizon2020, highlighting the CATCH project: CANCER ACTIVATING TECHNOLOGY FOR CONNECTED HEALTH, Marie Sklodowska Curie ITN. She has several publications and contributions to national and international conferences and seminars.
