Gabriel Ruiz
With a Master’s in Sports & Exercise Science, Nowadays I am working as part of a European Project named CATCH (Cancer: Activating Technology for Connected Health). CATCH has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement.
Gabriel worked in the fitness industry for 10 years, having won the first two prizes of the Innovation Initiative (2012 & 2013) at the Bodytech Company (Brasil). Hehas published severalscientific articles, including papers high impact journasl such as the International Journal of Sports Science and Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. He studied epidemic issues, with a focus on the benefits of Sport and Exercise during ageing. He was supported by a Government Scholarship (Cnpq) and worked with renowned researchers from Brazil and United States (Stanford University).
