Dr. Icíar de la Fuente

Graduated in Medicine and specialised in Medical Oncology, with training at Reina Sofía University Hospital in Córdoba.
She has extensive postgraduate training, including a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences: Research and New Challenges from the University of Burgos, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Medicine Research from the University of Elche, and a Master’s Degree in Medical Oncology from the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology. She also holds a University Expert qualification in Psycho-Oncology from the Catholic University of San Antonio in Murcia.
Her doctoral thesis focuses on liquid biopsy applied to colon cancer, an area in which she has also developed part of her research activity.
She is an author and collaborator on several scientific publications related to colon cancer, melanoma and breast cancer.
